The MTN Uganda deal where Shonubi Musoke & Co. Advocates were part of the legal advisory team for the largest syndicate of local and foreign banks in a USD 100 million equivalent multi-tranche, local and foreign currency syndicated term loan and revolving facility, has been awarded the 'Project Finance Deal of the Year' in the category Africa TMT by Euromoney.
This was a tremendous achievement for all involved including the banks, MTN Uganda, and advisors - the award recognises benchmarks and market shaping deals in today's difficult environment.
