Andrew Kibaya

Andrew Kibaya obtained his LL.B degree from Makerere University, Kampala and holds a post graduate diploma from the Law Development Centre (LDC).

He is an enrolled advocate of the High Court of Uganda and all subordinate courts and is an active member of the International Bar Association, the East African Law Society and the Uganda Law Society.

Mr. Kibaya has advised various international lenders, foreign law firms, international investors and multinational corporations regarding their diverse transactions in Uganda.

Mr. Kibaya practices in the fields of corporate and commercial law (including commercial litigation) and has acted in various mergers and acquisitions, project finance transactions and has a wide range of knowledge of banking and financial services regulation and environment in Uganda.

Andrew is also a part-time instructor at the country’s only postgraduate school for practical legal education, the Law Development Centre.

Mr. Kibaya is an active community member and is a charter member of the Rotary Club of Kampala Sunrise.

Mr. Kibaya is an ardent golfer and Partner at the firm.
