Brian Alade Shonubi

Brian Alade Shonubi graduated with an LLB (hons) from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom and was called to the bar of England and Wales in 2006 as a Barrister of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, Uganda (LDC).

Brian gained experience in Commercial litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution with Sherrards Solicitors LLP in London and has experience with Public Private Partnership and Local Government Service procurement contracts from his time with the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. Brian joined the firm in 2009 and practices in the corporate and commercial department practicing in all aspects of corporate and commercial law including commercial litigation.

He is currently at the International law firm of Norton Rose South Africa on extended secondment as part of the Norton Rose Africa Legal Team where he is specialising in Banking and Finance work specifically, syndicated loan transactions; structured finance, projects & project finance and M & A transactions with a focus on cross-border and emerging markets work.
