Ezekiel Tuma

Ezekiel Tuma obtained his LL.B Degree from Makerere University Kampala in 1997. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in legal practice from the Law Development Centre (LDC) and a Master of Commercial Law degree from the University of Cambridge, UK awarded in 2000. Mr. Tuma was enrolled as an advocate of the High Court of Uganda and all subordinate courts in 1999.

Mr. Tuma worked as a part time law lecturer at Uganda’s leading university, Makerere University Kampala for a period of eight years. He has consistently been recognized by Chambers and Partners Global Directory and the IFLR 1000 Guide to the Worlds Leading Finance Law Firms as a leading lawyer in Uganda. Mr. Tuma has also published several articles in reputable law journals.

Mr. Tuma practices in all fields of banking and finance law, corporate and commercial law, energy law, securities law, tax law and telecommunications law. Mr. Tuma has advised various international lenders, foreign law firms, international investors and multinational corporations regarding their diverse transactions in Uganda and regionally.

Mr. Tuma is presently on sabbatical leave for an extended period.
