Key areas of expertise:
Noah E. Mwesigwa obtained his LL.B Degree from Makerere University, Kampala and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in legal practice from the Law Development Centre (LDC).
He has also attended the Academy of American and International Law (now called the Centre for American and International Law) as conducted by the Southwestern Legal Foundation in conjunction with its International and Comparative Law Centre, Dallas, Texas USA.
He is an active member of the International Bar Association, the East African Law Society and the Uganda Law Society. He is an enrolled advocate of the High Court of Uganda and all subordinate courts thereto. Mr. Mwesigwa has published in and contributed articles to leading legal journals and publications and provided career guidance to young upcoming lawyers.
Mr Mwesigwa practices in the areas of corporate and commercial law (including litigation), mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance law, transactional and project work, energy law and general regulatory matters.
He has wide experience in advising international and local financial institutions, foreign law firms, companies and individuals, NGO's & foreign country technical co-operation entities.
Mr. Mwesigwa is an ardent golfer and a Partner at the firm.
