Byenkya Tito is an organizational development and
legal empowerment specialist; and is responsible for mainstreaming business
development into the programs of the firm through
Customer Relationship Management, branding; review of institutional
systems and tools; and facilitation of thought leadership.
He possess a Masters of Development Studies from Uganda Christian University; a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Makerere
University; and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Law Development
Centre in Kampala.
Tito's areas of expertise include organizational
development, regional integration, development legal assistance, and Business development.
His passion for organizational development has seen
him work in different capacities with the Uganda Local Governments
Association (ULGA); Platform for Labour Action (PLA); and the Legal
Resources Foundation based in Lusaka, Zambia. He has most recently
served as the Executive Director of the Uganda Law Society (ULS); as the
Deputy Regional Director of the Strengthening Access to Justice in East
Africa (SAJEA) Program Office in Dar es Salaam; and as the Chief
Executive Officer of the East Africa Law Society in Arusha, Tanzania,
from where he joined the firm.
Tito is a member of the International Bar
Association, the East Africa Law Society and the Uganda Law Society.
