Haila is an Associate at the firm. She obtained a Bachelor of Laws from Makerere University, Uganda, and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, Uganda.

She is a member of the East Africa Law Society and the Uganda Law Society.

She specialises in intellectual property, family law, corporate and commercial law and regulatory compliance. She has provided legal advisory, assistance and advocacy to several companies and government agencies in financial, real estate law, business contracts, and other business and corporate affairs. She has had an opportunity to hone her skills in building and maintaining positive client relationships and her experience in corporate law extends to due diligence, shareholders and management buyouts and dispute resolutions.

Her experience ranges from preparing and prosecuting trademarks, copyright and patents applications for various local and international entities. She has handled a variety of transactional trademark, patents and copyright matters. In her practice, she has also handled a broad spectrum of Family law related matters such as drafting of wills, handling domestic and international adoptions, guardianship and custody matters, registration of civil marriages, divorce matters, probate and administration of estate matters.
