Jonan holds a Bachelors Degree in Law from the Uganda Christian University, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre.

Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Jonan worked with the Legal Aid Clinic of the Law Development Centre, according him extensive practical experience in litigation and ADR matters.

While at University, Jonan represented the country and the University at the International Moot Court Competition; and was subsequently recognized by the University's Law School Society as the Most Outstanding Student of the Year 2015,' earning him the coveted 'Dr. Pamela Tibihikirra-Kayegira Award'.

Jonan's addition to the firm is consistent with its philosophy of identifying and facilitating the best upcoming legal talent, in a continuous process of mentoring and organic growth.

Jonan is presently attached to the Corporate and Commercial department of the firm.
